This Angkor Wat 4 day itinerary is set up for guests who want the famous temple names, one good evening contrast, and airport transport handled from the start. We keep the flow simple because simple works. Day 1 is for arrival and rest. Day 2 is for outer temples and sunset light. Day 3 is for sunrise and the temple icons most people come here to see. Day 4 ends with a private ride back to SAI.

We also sort the vehicle setup in advance. For private SAI airport transfer, groups of 1 to 5 guests travel in a Hyundai Starex minivan. Groups of 6 to 12 guests travel in a Hyundai County van. Shared tour days run in a Hyundai County van, with space matched to the group.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Siem Reap
Meet your driver outside Siem Reap SAI airport.
Get help with luggage.
Ride to your hotel by private vehicle using National Road 6 and the Airport Expressway.
Keep the rest of the day light. Dinner, shower, sleep... that is the right move here.

Day 2: Banteay Srei and Grand Circuit Heritage Tour
Hotel pickup is around 8:00 am.
Start at Pre Rup, a temple mountain from the 10th century.
Continue to Banteay Srei, known for pink sandstone and fine carvings.
Stop at Neak Pean, set on a circular island in the old baray.
Finish at Preah Khan, where roots, stone, and quiet corridors give the site a softer mood.
Return to town after sunset views over the ruins.

Day 3: Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour
Hotel pickup runs around 4:15 am to 4:35 am.
Enter Angkor Wat through the eastern side in low light.
Watch sunrise near the library pool.
Spend about two hours inside Angkor Wat with time for carvings, chambers, and upper levels.
Continue to Ta Prohm.
Drive through Angkor Thom.
Visit Bayon and stop at the South Gate.
Return to your hotel around 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Early start, yes. But the finish time feels good after a morning like this.
Day 3 Evening: Choose Your Add-On
Rice Field Sunset with Home-Cooked Dinner
Spend the evening in the rice fields with drinks and snacks, then walk to a Khmer wooden house for dinner cooked by village women.

Dinner with Traditional Apsara Performance
Enjoy a buffet dinner with roundtrip tuk tuk transfer and a live Apsara dance show, plus other Cambodian dance pieces.
