Private airport pickup, temple days, one free choice day, and airport drop off in one easy Siem Reap plan.

Some Siem Reap trips feel rushed from the first airport ride. We do not like that. We built this 4 day plan for guests who want the famous temples, smooth transport, and enough free space in the day to slow down when they feel like it.

I think four days works very well here. You get the Angkor must-sees. You still have time for one more full day that fits your style. Some guests want more temples. Some want a waterfall day. Some want Tonle Sap and a boat ride before dinner. This plan gives you that choice, while your driver stays with you through the whole stay.

And yes, that matters. A lot. No waiting for a group. No last minute taxi hunt. No stress over how to fit the airport, the temples, and a third day into one short holiday.

  1. You will spend 4 days in Siem Reap with your own driver and your own pace.
  2. Meet your driver at Siem Reap International Airport.
  3. Ride straight to your hotel, resort, or villa for check in.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Siem Reap

Meet your driver at Siem Reap International Airport.
Take a private ride to your hotel for check in.
If your flight lands early, you can add Beng Mealea as an extra stop before hotel arrival or later in the day. It is a good pick for guests who want one more temple without making the rest of the plan feel too full.
Keep the evening free. Walk around town. Have dinner. Get some rest. A calm first day often makes the whole trip feel better.

Day 2: Classic Angkor Day

Start early for Angkor Wat sunrise if you want that first light over the temple. It is an early wake up, sure, but many guests love it.
After Angkor Wat, continue to Angkor Thom. Visit Bayon Temple and its famous stone faces. Then stop at Ta Prohm, where the roots and stone walls sit together in a way that feels almost unreal.
Return to your hotel in the afternoon. Leave the evening open for dinner, a spa, or the night market.

Day 3: Pick One of Three Routes

This day gives you room to shape the trip your way.
Option 1: Temple Circuit
Visit Banteay Srei.
Continue to Preah Khan.
Stop at Neak Pean.
Visit Ta Som.
Continue to East Mebon.
End at Pre Rup for sunset.
This route is a very good fit for guests who want more temple time after day 2, but still want a different feel from the main Angkor route.

Option 2: Kulen Mountain Day
Drive to Phnom Kulen National Park.
See the riverbed carvings.
Spend time near the waterfall.
Add a light walk and a swim stop if you want.
This is a nice pick if you want trees, water, and a break from stone temples. Some guests say this day gives the trip a fresh feel. I get why.

Option 3: Tonle Sap Day
Choose Kampong Phluk for stilt houses and mangrove sections.
Or choose Chong Khneas for a different Tonle Sap route.
Take a boat trip through the village area.
Watch fishing activity and daily life on the water.
Return to Siem Reap near sunset.
Keep the evening open for dinner or a massage.

Day 4: Departure Day

Check out from your hotel.
If your flight time allows, add Beng Mealea as a final stop.
Beng Mealea ticket is an extra 10 USD per person.
Transfer to the airport for departure.
Simple. Clean. Easy.
